Editorial Policy
NerdHobbies aims to publish useful, accurate, and maintainable guidance.
Evidence and testing
We prefer official manuals, project documentation, release notes, standards, and direct testing. Manufacturer claims, research findings, editorial judgment, and firsthand observations are identified rather than blended together. We never invent testing, ownership, measurements, or credentials.
Recommendations
Recommendations explain who a product or approach suits, important limitations, and reasonable alternatives. Affiliate compensation does not determine the conclusion. Material relationships are disclosed before commercial links.
Corrections and updates
Older technical guidance can age. We review meaningful reports, correct supported errors, and update material claims when software, hardware, or law changes. Send corrections to admin@nerdhobbies.com.
Images
We use original, licensed, authorized, public-domain, or clearly identified s. Illustrative images are not presented as photographs of products we tested.
